Spring football season is quickly approaching, and the Rams are already putting in the work. Players have been hard at it during both morning and afternoon strength and conditioning sessions, building the foundation for what they hope will be a strong upcoming season. With several key contributors returning, the team is focused on raising the bar and improving their preparation standards compared to last year.
Head Coach Jackson has been encouraged by what he’s seen so far. “I’m really excited about the effort our guys are putting in right now,” Jackson said. “They’re showing up early, staying locked in, and competing every day. It’s been great to see how hard they’re working before spring practices even begin.”
The Rams will officially kick off their spring schedule in early May, but there are a few important dates players and families should note:

May 7 – Rams Day on the Hill: New Student Orientation
Ramsay High School will host Rams Day on the Hill for the incoming Class of 2030. All newly enrolled students, regardless of grade level, are required to attend with a parent or guardian. Players, coaches, and members of the Touchdown Booster Club will be on hand to provide information on how to join and support Ramsay Football.
Spring Practice: May 4–14, 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Full schedule: Spring Practice Schedule
The spring will conclude with the Rams’ Spring Game:
Spring Game vs. Jemison: May 15 at 7:00 p.m.

With momentum already building in the weight room, Ramsay looks poised to carry that energy onto the field as spring practice gets underway in the coming weeks.
